TROPICO Summit '19
Collaboration in the Digital Era: Evidence from European Governments

23 - 25 October 2019
Tallinn, Estonia – #TROPICO19

Which opportunities does digitalisation offer for the public sector?
How are governments becoming more open, transparent and collaborative?

To discuss these topics, the TROPICO Summit 2019 brought together scholars and highly ranked civil service practitioners.

For two days, the TROPICO team presented its own results through presentations, roundtables and panel discussions, and received input from public officials, ICT practitioners and academics from other research projects. The main focus of this summit was on internal (WP4) and external (WP5) collaboration for policy design. Discussions revolved around drivers and barriers of innovative collaboration practices with a special emphasis on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT).
